I'm glad everything went well Dr. Furball. I have an interview myself tomorrow within my company, so I think one of my Lupin-colored ties will be in order. Good luck. Go with yellow. yay everybody is getting has a job aparrently hehe
Well, not me, I didn't get it. I was told to try again in a month or two. Ah well. Let's not dwell on it. Instead, let's have a delicious meal (randomly generated from this site): Pizza Style Cabbages Serves 3 You will need:
* 1 pork chops * 4 cabbages * 5 eggs * 30ml milk
Instructions:
1. pre-heat the oven to 190 C 2. eat the pork chops 3. toast the cabbages 4. barbeque the milk 5. grill the eggs 6. bake for 80 minutes and serve hot

After reading something that made you bawl your eyes out? I completely feel you on that you don't want to pick up your textbook. ^^:;

I've been thinking a bit about my lack of success in job-hunting, and I'm wondering if getting a job as a cartoonist for a local newspaper would be possible. From what I've seen, all their comics are syndicated, so maybe they'd like the chance to showcase some local "talent"?
But I know next to nothing about the newspaper business, and I'm not sure what limitations would be put on me if they hired me. Or what kind of comic to do. Or if they'd even to consider having their own cartoonist.

I'm sad for you that you haven't had much success in job-hunting--but, whatever opportunity may appear to be available, preempt it--contact them and ask them if they need a cartoonist. It couldn't hurt. ^^

But the fact that it was over a comic just makes it really pathetic haha. @DrFurball - I think trying for the local paper is a great idea, especially if they don't have any local artists contributing at the moment. Any other experience with publishing your comics should sway them towards the idea as well. It never really hurts to just put yourself out there, and if the paper thing doesn't work out just do what my friend did - print off a million resumes and leave one at every other store. You'll most likely get an interview with half of them and at least one of them will call you back. I decided to hit Mt. Washington (since Whistler is pretty much 100x more expensive this season and packed) yesterday to get in some snowboarding since most of my midterms are over. So during my third run down I'm going around the curve and see these two skiers coming onto my run from theirs. Most of the routes merge it's not unusual to see other people coming at you. Anyways they RANDOMLY decide to stop (big friggen no no!) and take pictures, and there's all these trees and I'm yelling at them to move and the next thing I know BAM and I completely collide head on with them. Apparently they were "tourists and new to the whole skiing thing!" Yup. So instead of heading home from a nice day on the mountain, I've just returned from the emergency room with a busted knee and sprained elbow.

I'm working on a quick little Video right now called "Jigen For President". It'll be up tomorrow, I hope you all like it. It kind of just popped into my head because of a joke between my girlfriend and I regarding Jigen.
