Where's the bathroom?

WWW
« Topic Start: June 01, 2010, 01:47:31 PM »

I wanted to reply to the lupinhasthreejackets latest podcast regarding the differences between the manga and anime.

I read the first volume of the Lupin III first series manga and it sort of was related to the first series of the anime such as the chapter with Pycal.
I read the first volume of the Lupin III Worlds Most Wanted manga and I read  a chapter where it was called Detective Melon with the melon cop with Zenigata ,  the characters in this manga is related to the red jacket anime series (2nd t.v series)

these two manga's do related to the anime series (like most manga do)
but I haven't read all of the volumes

I hope to get more Lupin manga

I also have some opinions of the two manga series  at  the Lupin has a Podcast website

To me, the greatest fault of the Manga is that Lupin is the only character who is memorable. Every other character is just like a side character with no personality. Jigen and Goemon and more like "Henchmen A and B". Fujiko is just "Tits". And Zenigata is "Cop A".

The Anime makes these characters lovable and memorable.

^^ This exactly... and lol at "tits".....

It's much easier to follow the zany plot twists in the animation than on a piece of paper. Many times in the manga I was like "what the hell just happened?" Like BOOM it was really ZENIGATA wearing fake breasts but it was really LUPIN and the treasure was really FAKE and blah blah...

sometimes it has no sense, it's like "ok, sometimes happens it's better with animated draws.

Yeah, sometimes the endings can be confusing in the Manga. I DO love the Manga for what it is. I enjoy a lot of the Manga's plots. But the characters (Aside from Lupin) and just too bland,
